I'm Soham, I make complex software feel surprisingly simple

I join product teams early. Often before the brief is settled. I shape the scope, design the experience, and stay through implementation. One thread from first question to shipped detail.

About me

I studied software engineering and service design. My first years were spent writing specifications, mapping systems, and sitting between business and engineering. Each role showed me another layer of how software actually gets made.

That path pulled me into product design. I work across the full thing: product direction, interaction models, prototypes, visual language, and the small decisions that make implementation hold together.

You get one person who owns the work from research to release. Fewer handoffs, fewer assumptions, and no disappearing once the polished file is ready. I stay for the hard parts: pivots, edge cases, and the release that almost slipped.

Outside work, I collect mid-century print ephemera and photograph transit architecture. I like systems with a clear structure and one surprising move.

I choose early teams because that's where a designer can shape the whole product: the first prototype, the story that earns trust, and the details people use every day.
